Mike graduated from The University of Central Florida in 1999. Shortly after graduation, his 14-year sales experience begins with door-to-door/referral sales with Vector Marketing selling “The World’s Finest Cutlery”. He ranked in the top 2% of this very competitive organization.
That opportunity gave him the experience he needed to become the youngest candidate offered a position with the nation’s leading medical equipment and supplies company PSS (Physicians Sales and Service). Always making an immediate impact, Mike was ranked in the top ten rookies (out of 200) in his first two years. He took a virgin untouched territory in Seattle, WA and transformed it into one of the most dominant territories to this day within the industry.
Soon after, Mike took his experience into the realm of real estate. In 2004, he capitalized on his expanding real estate portfolio by accepting an offer from the nation’s leading post-secondary education company, Tigrent, Inc. (now Rich Dad Education). Currently spearheaded by financial maverick Robert Kiyosaki, the company brought Mike on as an advisor and consultant. There he consistently ranked in the top 5% or better in sales each year. Mike was a true leader and provided the highest level of service for his clients.
Mike continues his success as one of the most respected premiere consultants in the industry. He is often asked to consult with many of the most successful and influential educators, investors, and entrepreneurs in the world. This impressive list includes Meir Ezra, George Ross (Donald Trump’s right hand man), Nido Qubein, Stedman Graham, Steve Wozniak, Rudy Giuliani, Eric Trump, Michael Eisner, and Kathy Ireland.
Mike continues to reach new levels of success while tapping his entrepreneurial spirit. He enjoys coaching and mentoring business owners, entrepreneurs, and CEOs both domestically and abroad.
In November of 2013 Mike co-founded Unfair Advantage Events, Inc. with Joe Gnapp. With Mike and Joe at the helm, UAE gives their clients over 25 years of combined seminar sales and operations experience. They efficiently and effectively assist business experts in their individual fields create and monetize events with a polished A-Player strategist team and event staff.
Joe Gnapp, Co-founder Unfair Advantage Events, has over 16 years of experience in the seminar and education industries. He has successfully grown and enhanced several sales operations, both domestically and internationally, including the management of an 80-seat, $52MM call center.
Joe’s story starts from the ground up. With no high school diploma or formal college education, he began working in the seminar industry at the age of 24. He spent 10 years with an industry-leading seminar company where he managed business units in the U.S., Canada, and UK. His continual hard work and efforts gained him additional responsibilities and several trusted positions within the company. During his time here, he soaked up as much as he could and has earned the equivalent of a masters degree in the seminar industry.
In 2009, Joe decided to use his know-how to the consulting world. He now specializes in operations, turnarounds, and building aggressive growth opportunities for companies within the seminar industry. He currently consults for several of the top seminar companies in the world. He is a mastermind at taking start-ups to fully operational businesses in short periods of time.
In his spare time, Joe owns and manages his own real estate investments while enjoying time with his wife and two sons.
